Biography

Jayy-Dee Lakai was, in the early '90s, a founding member of the LastEssence along with Lead Singer Chaz Anderson. Jayy-Dee Lakai branched out on his own in 2009. He first started releasing records in the early 2000s
In 2006, he appeared on record with his close friend Rob G ("Crusin' In my 64"). In 2009, he appeared on record with The Kidd ("Shut Em Dowm"). In 2010, he appeared on records with jazz singer Liz Garnet ("I'm Lost"). Jayy-Dee Lakai appeared in several Talent Shows and Open Mics. He is currently unsigned, and managed by Lady Mystique Entertainment. Jayy-Dee has produced many local artist such as: Kila Starlet, J-sky, Smit, Ruckuss, Up comming Country artist Shanda, ect.
